I was originally going to stay away from this game but we are 3-0 on Thursday night games so far this year so I want to ride the streak. Cincinnati goes to NC State where the Wolfpack opened as 1 point underdogs. The line has moved 3 points since then and the Bearcats are currently 2 point underdogs. When the gambling public is putting so much action on one side that the line swapped sides like that you know we are going to go against the public.
The last time we saw a game swing across the pickem like this, we have to go way back to last week when the Seahawks opened as 2 point favorites against the 49ers and the line swung all the way to San Fran by 3. Seahawks ended up winning the game outright, although my West Coast football guy tells me that Seattle looked like garbage for most of the game. The other compelling reason to take CIncy in this one is as an anti-ACC stance. Bet against the ACC whenever possible at this point. Nice games against James Madison, Oklahoma, Kansas, and the Ohio State University guys.
