No truth to the rumor this was John Brantley after the Gators plane landed in Gainesville.
The real troubling thing is that after two games against Alabama in the past 10 months, it is blatantly obvious we aren’t in the same class. To quote Jules in Pulp Fiction, “ain’t the same fuckin’ ballpark, it ain’t the same league, it ain’t even the same fuckin’ sport.”
Now the debate will start about whether our consistantly top-rated recruiting classes have tanked (the prosecution offers exhibits A and B in Omar Hunter and John Brantley) or our coaching staff is completely overmatched (we love you Addazzio for holding things down when Urban was sick but might be time for you to go).
The final thing we’ll offer tonight… the SEC is a shell of its former self. Alabama is playing in a conference with a bunch of patsies. Unless Auburn is for real (we doubt it), which would mean South Carolina is pretty good, the SEC has one legitimate top 15 team. But that one is a fucking ferocious animal hell-bent on going back-to-back.
More to come surely, when we can actually see and think straight.
